Lillian Webb is an illustrator/ designer living in Newcastle, Australia. She completed a degree in Natural History Illustration (scientific illustration) at the University of Newcastle, graduating in 2018. This degree allowed for the study of animals, natural environments, botanical illustration, human anatomy and archaeological illustration.
All her work begins in a traditional sketchbook and is done by hand.
Traditional illustration skills have become an integral part of Lillian's working process as a book designer and illustrator. When painting digitally, Lillian uses Adobe Photoshop with a Wacom Intuos Pro Tablet. All her work begins in a traditional sketchbook by hand.
When working by hand, graphite, charcoal and watercolour are her preferred mediums.
